Roma Pride 2015 Embaixada Cigana do Brasil

No Roma Pride 2015 a Embaixada Cigana do Brasil - Phralipen Romane é participante ativa e signatária do manifesto abaixo

Manifesto: Uma Questão de Dignidade


Exigimos que retirem a fazenda de porcos, do local onde foi o campo de concentração de Lety. Em 2 de Março de 1939, o governo Checo-eslovaco ordenou que uma instituição correcional, na forma de campo de trabalho forçado, fosse construído para o envio de ciganos. A construção ocorreu perto da aldeia de Lety, no distrito de Písek. Os ciganos eram normalmente utilizados para o trabalho duro, tais como a construção de estradas. No total, cerca de 50.000 pessoas passaram por esse campo de trabalho durante a guerra. E hoje as autoridades locais, tentando apagar essa mácula em sua história, permitiram que o local fosse utilizado para uma fazenda industrial de porcos. Isso é ultrajante à memória de nossos antepassados e de seus descendentes. Portanto, no Roma Pride, Paris, 2015 – 04/10, realizamos este manifesto:
Há, no coração da Europa, uma fazenda industrial de porcos que fica no local onde foi um campo de concentração cigano. Em cima do muro desta fazenda, há uma placa com a bandeira da UE; a fazenda, de fato, recebe subsídios europeus através da Política Agrícola.
A presença de porcos, com sua sujeira e odor nauseante que domina o local, mancha a memória daqueles que perderam suas vidas no campo de concentração e é uma agressão à sua dignidade e à dignidade de seus descendentes. Lety fica na República Checa, cerca de uma hora de carro, ao sul de Praga.  Centenas de ciganos foram mortos no trabalho forçado e foram de lá deportados para a morte, sobretudo a Auschwitz-Birkenau.
Este "localcídio", referindo-se ao crime contra o local da fazenda, ressoa com o genocídio de que os ciganos foram vítimas durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial. Ele ecoa a perseguição e discriminação a que os ciganos ainda são submetidos na Europa de hoje. Ele simboliza a ausência de conhecimentos sobre esta parte da história europeia. Embora, diferentes manifestações de racismo tenham aparecido no continente europeu, um continente que passa por uma crise de identidade, uma crise de valores, ao lado de uma crise econômica, social e institucional, a virulência do racismo anti-cigano, assim como o anti-semitismo, encontra parte de sua explicação em um certo “apagamento” da memória do genocídio contra ciganos e judeus.
Na verdade, querem o desaparecimento dos sobreviventes. É a consciência culpada da civilização europeia que quer que eles desapareçam. No entanto, a consciência culpada permite que a violência continue, e atacam ciganos e judeus com tanta crueldade ainda nos dias de hoje. E isto ocorre justamente porque eles são simbolicamente os herdeiros e testemunhas dos fatos que os europeus querem apagar.  Assim, o apagamento da memória, e o não reconhecimento desses fatos históricos, aparecem como a “incubação” de uma nova forma de racismo contra ciganos e judeus. Além disso, o fim do “localcídio” representará uma luta contra o racismo, contra a discriminação e contra o preconceito fundamentado na ignorância, que aflige os ciganos da Europa. Este seria o avanço do conhecimento, justiça e igualdade. Transmitindo esse fato histórico às gerações atuais e futuras, permitindo-lhes desfazer o legado de perseguição, e que possam ficar livres do peso sufocante de um passado fúnebre. Em suma, isto irá encarnar o espírito do  Orgulho Cigano (Roma Pride), uma mobilização contra o racismo, em nome da igualdade e dignidade, para que ciganos e não ciganos, a partir de mais de vinte países da Europa e a participação do Brasil, se envolvam em conjunto no primeiro domingo de outubro (04/10/2015).
Nossa dignidade, na Europa e fora dela, exige que se ponha fim à contaminação da fazenda de Lety.
É por essa razão, por ocasião do Dia do Orgulho Cigano (Roma Pride Day), que pedimos ao presidente do Conselho Europeu, o Sr. Tusk, o Presidente da Comissão Europeia, Sr. Juncker, Presidente do Conselho da União Europeia Sr. Schulz, bem como ao primeiro-ministro checo Sr. Sobotka que ajam para que possamos finalmente colocar um fim ao “localcídio” que é representado pela degradação da fazenda Lety.
Concretamente, isso significa mudar o local da exploração industrial agrícola de porcos e em seu lugar, construir um local apropriado para a transmissão da memória; ao contrário da pedra memorial que atualmente fica apenas nas valas comuns, a poucas centenas de metros do local. Isto significa apoiar a investigação, a fim de descobrir toda a história deste antigo campo de concentração, bem como aqueles que viveram e que morreram lá.
O financiamento para fazer isso, já está disponível. Bastaria, por exemplo,  usar alguns dos milhões de euros provenientes do orçamento europeu alocados anualmente para a integração dos ciganos, que repousam ociosos em Bruxelas devido à falta de interesse dos Estados membros ou as respectivas autoridades locais. Hoje, tudo o que falta é a vontade política para agir.
É no empreendimento deste projeto de dignidade que a Europa vai encontrar o seu fôlego, que hoje marca o seu fracasso, e será capaz de responder à crise de valores em que nos encontramos. Permitindo a atual e as gerações futuras a possibilidade de se projetar para o futuro com entusiasmo revivido. Hoje, esse caminho da dignidade passa por Lety.

Ações Preliminares

Entre os dias 16-19 de julho a Embaixada Cigana do Brasil – Phralipen Romani participou a convite do EGAM (França), da reunião em Budapeste da qual também participaram líderes de organizações anti-racistas, ciganas e não-ciganas de 20 países europeus (Romênia, Republica Checa, França, Espanha, Sérvia etc...),  para falar mais sobre as ações que serão realizadas nas comemorações do Roma Pride 2015. Nossa participação ocorreu por vídeo conferência e o envio de vídeo sobre o trabalho que desenvolvemos no Brasil e na Europa contra o preconceito e o estereótipo.
